The NSACC is a not-for-profit society that is the Nova Scotia branch of the Canadian Culinary Federation. Our purpose is to uphold the dignity of our profession and to help educate our membership in changes to our profession. We try to bridge the gap between cooks, management and suppliers. We work closely with our Associate Partners, National Organizations (WACS, CCFCC, and CCI) and local organizations (RANS, CAFPand TIANS) in hopes of improving the culinary industry in Nova Scotia. We also post information with regards to upcoming training which is being provided throughout the province which could benefit our local membership and the general public. As an organization we host regular monthly meetings from September to June at a variety of locations. Some events are free of charge, while for others there is a charge for a 3-5 course sit down meal. Some of these meetings are a business style meeting, while others are an information session on such topics as gluten free cooking, touring a winery or having a sponsor showcase products, to name but a few.
